Hearts, tarts and other smelly things

Taking the drain down Columbia and through Richelieu
snowflakes falling
whiskey bottle shining.

I love it down here
among the bungled and the botched
sapphiric and vampiric neon globes line our path

Meth that is crackled and rolled on the spot
no hope or mercy
just a hot pipe singeing lips.
Cold memory sears my tongue.
